Monetary Governance

The Forbes Foundation is led by a Board of Directors with all of the powers of governing and directing, and of overseeing the management and affairs of the organization. The corporate governance principles of The Forbes Foundation are composed of a series of documents adopted by the Board of Governors and reviewed periodically to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the organization and reflect current industry best practices.

As a 501(c)(3) public charity, The Forbes Foundation relies upon the support of generous Americans to fulfill its mission.

All funds are overseen by a licensed CPA. A separate CPA firm performs an in-depth audit.

During this fund-raiser, all prize distributions are overseen and verified by a notary public. All prize distributions over $5,000 are overseen and verified by two notary publics.
